WHY YOUR SKINCARE ISN'T WORKING

Your skincare isn't the problem. Your water is.

AZ tap water carries chloramine, hardness, and trace contaminants that quietly undo your skincare. A free in-home test shows you exactly what's in yours.

"My dermatologist actually asked me if I had a water filter. That's how I learned."

THE PROBLEM YOU CAN'T SEE

Why AZ water is harsher on skin and hair than most places.

Three reasons your skincare routine is fighting a losing battle in the shower.

Chloramine, not just chlorine.

AZ uses chloramine — a harsher, longer-lasting disinfectant. Stripping effect on the skin barrier is more pronounced. Standard carbon filters don't catch it. You need catalytic carbon.

Hardness (calcium + magnesium).

At 12–18 grains/gallon, AZ is in the "very hard" EPA bracket. Mineral buildup deposits on the hair shaft over time, making hair feel rougher and conditioners noticeably less effective.

Pipe minerals + summer heat.

AZ summer pipe temps hit 90°F+. That accelerates everything — pipe wear, mineral leaching, bacterial growth. Your shower water in August is meaningfully different from your shower water in February.

WHAT CHANGES IN 3 WEEKS

What customers report after install.

Not promises. Customer-reported outcomes. Results vary.

  • Softer-feeling hair after washing

  • Calmer, less reactive skin reported

  • Less product needed (cheap conditioners start working)

  • Cleaner shower glass and faucets — less scale

  • More comfortable, less itchy after washing

*Results vary. Customer experiences are individual. Consult your dermatologist for skin concerns.

A 60-SECOND AZ WATER PRIMER

Why AZ has harsher water than most places.

  • 12–18 grains hardness. EPA classifies anything above 10.5 as "very hard." AZ is well above the line.
  • CCl2NH2 Chloramine, not just chlorine. Designed to last longer in the pipes — and harsher on the skin barrier as a result.
  • 90°F+ Summer pipe temps. Accelerates pipe wear, mineral leaching, and bacterial growth. Your August water isn't the same as your February water.
  • 45% Of US tap water has PFAS. Most cities don't even test for them. We do.

HOW BAD SHOWER WATER SHOWS UP

You don't see it. You feel it.

Three things people quietly notice — usually weeks before they connect it to the water.

Skin that feels tight after every shower

Hard-water minerals leave a film that strips your skin's natural oils. Your moisturizer is doing its job — it's just fighting the water.

Hair that feels brittle by Wednesday

Mineral residue coats the hair shaft and dulls color treatments faster. Even pricey shampoos can't fully rinse it out.

Itchy, flaky scalp that "comes and goes"

Hard-water residue clings to the scalp long after you towel off. Sensitive scalps notice first — but it's not your shampoo.

QUESTIONS

What customers ask before booking.

Will my hair really feel different?

Customers report softer, easier-to-manage hair within 2–3 weeks. Results vary by water hardness and existing damage — but the pattern is consistent enough that we hear it from most customers in the first month.

Is whole-home filtration the same as a shower filter?

No. Shower filters help, but they only filter at one fixture and most don't address chloramine. Whole-home filtration treats every tap — including the water you drink, cook, and wash dishes with.

How long until I notice a change?

Most customers report a noticeable difference within 2–3 weeks for hair, slightly faster for skin. Results vary.

Is reverse osmosis safe for skin?

Whole-home filtration ≠ reverse osmosis. RO is typically just for drinking water at the kitchen sink. The skin and hair benefits come from softener + chloramine removal upstream of every tap.

Will this help my skin sensitivity?

We can't make medical claims. Customers with various sensitivities have reported calmer, less reactive skin after install — but we always recommend consulting your dermatologist for any specific skin concern.

Is the water test really free?

Yes. No credit card. No hidden fee. No diagnostic charge. We come, we test, we leave a printed report. We don't pitch unless you ask.
